Ceremonial magic is practiced in many cultures, and attempts to understand, experience and influence the world in a manner akin to that of religion.The concept of magic as a separate category to that of religion first appeared in Judaism, which derided as magic the practices of pagan worship designed to appease and receive benefits from gods other than Jehovah. Magic is often viewed with suspicion by the wider community, and is sometimes practiced in isolation and secrecy. The belief in and the practice of Ceremonial magic has been present since the earliest human cultures and continues to have an important religious and medicinal role in many cultures today. "Magic is central not only in primitive societies but in high cultural societies as well." Modern Western magicians generally state magic's primary purpose to be personal spiritual growth. Modern perspectives on the theory of magic broadly follow two major views. The first sees magic as a result of a universal sympathy within the universe, where if something is done here a result happens somewhere else. The other view sees magic as collaboration with spirits who cause the effect. A magician is any practitioner of magic; therefore a magician may be a specialist or a common practitioner, even if he or she does not consider himself a magician. Magical knowledge is usually passed down from one magician to another through family or apprenticeships, though in some cultures it may also be purchased. The information transferred usually consists of instructions on how to perform a variety of rituals, manipulate magical objects, or how to appeal to gods or to other supernatural forces. Magical knowledge is often well guarded, as it is a valuable commodity to which each magician believes that he has a proprietary right. Yet the possession of magical knowledge alone may be insufficient to grant magical power; often a person must also possess certain magical objects, traits or life experiences in order to be a magician. A variety of personal traits may be credited to magical power, though frequently they are associated with an unusual birth into the world. Certain post-birth experiences may also be believed to convey magical power. For example a person's survival of a near-death illness may be taken as evidence of their power as a healer. Initiations are perhaps the most commonly used ceremonies to establish and to differentiate magicians from common people. In these rites the magician's relationship to the supernatural and his entry into a closed professional class is established, often through rituals that simulate death and rebirth into a new life. The belief that one can influence supernatural powers, by prayer, sacrifice or invocation goes back to prehistoric religion and is present in early records such as the Egyptian pyramid texts and the Indian Vedas. I was reluctant to write a book about the sacred mysteries of the Quimbanda Goetia because the information is not made available to outsiders who are not formally initiated at our Afro-Brazilian American Quimbanda Temple, but after doing some research from other books about the Goetia magical tradition as well as from information that was available on the internet, I decided that I was being spiritually obligated to write down these sacred American Quimbanda Goetia mysteries in a series of books so that the entire world could begin to realize the importance of these sacred magical mysteries and start to benefit from them. That is why I decided to share these very historical and scare occult mysteries with the world and with you today in this ceremonial high magic book which contains simple rituals that anyone can do and get fast positive results. The information that I was able to gather and read about in many books and the internet is all wrong, in my professional spiritual opinion. When I carefully read the available material on the Goetia spirits which included many well-known authors, I thought to myself, this information is inaccurate and has even been presented many of times in a backwards or reverse format that instead of helping people in their lives to resolve their everyday problems, it more than likely worsened their lives. I am sure many of you have heard of the warnings about working with the 72 Goetia Spirits of King Solomon and how horrible they can be. Well these warnings are correct, if you do not follow the information of the magic rituals "step by step" that I provide and present in this book. This is one the biggest common mistakes by the misinformed about the Goetia Spirits that has been published in books and that is widely accepted by many occult groups claiming to have the true occult mysteries of the Goetia Spirits is that they refer to the Goetia Spirits as demons, but they are not. This very "gross error" in the misinterpretation of the spiritual classification of the actual spirits has in past times sparked fear in the minds of society. Because of that misinterpretation of the truth, these spirits have been unjustly accused of committing just about every known atrocity from the past history of mankind. The 72 Astral Exu Goetia Spirits are not demons. The 72 Astral Goetia Spirits were placed here by Nzambi (God) to watch over the great universe and to assist mankind with such things as scientific advancements, technology and have also taught man how to have a better understanding and respect for one's self, our fellow man and the universe that we live in. Although I am not going to go into detail about why they are not or should be not classified as demons in this introduction, I will address this issue in a later chapter that is sure to spark a great debate among present day practitioners of the Goetia magical occult arts. That is why I have decided to write and publish a series of various Limited Edition Books about the American Quimbanda Goetia magical religious tradition and make them available to the occult community and to the general public to correct all of the misinformation that presently exists about the Goetia Spirits and about how to successfully do their magical rituals without the fear of spiritual repercussion from these very powerful ancient spirits of the astral realm from the Greater Quimbanda Kingdom of the Most Glorious Angel, Exu Maioral. The methods of how to do Quimbanda Goetia spiritual experiments that I will teach you in this book have been proven to get individuals the results that they are looking for by working with the powerful Astral Exu Goetia Spirits. Spiritual Experiments using the powerful magical mysteries of the Afro-Brazilian Quimbanda Goetia are very different from that of the traditional European derived Goetia magical traditions. Although both magical traditions can be classified as necromancy, the primary difference between the two magical systems is in the usage of sacred magical tools and holy spirit relics. In the Afro- Brazilian Quimbanda Goetia magical tradition, many of times the magician (Quimbandeiro) uses sacred spirit vessels which contain the actual mysteries of powerful spirits which are more commonly known as Nkisi. The vessel which houses these holy spirit relics is more commonly known as an Nganga. It must be remembered that our historical tradition of the Afro-Brazilan Gnostic Quimbanda religious tradition is derived from the African Congo magical tradition and therefore uses many different types of holy spirit relics in the magical application of the sacred occult black arts. In the European derived Goetia magical traditions there is an absence of the actual spirit mysteries and the Goetia Spirits are invoked through the usage of ancient prayers, magical incantations and spirit sigils. A spirit sigil or (spirit seal) is a symbol used in magic. The term has usually referred to a type of pictorial signature of a particular spirit, demon or other entity. Both the European derived Goetia magical system and the Afro-Brazilian Quimbanda Goetia magical system use sigils in its rituals. In the Afro-Brazilian Goetia magical tradition these powerful Astral Spirits can be invoked and summoned in the same manner as those practiced by magicians practicing the European derived Goetia system or they can place the sacred spirit vessels within the sacred ceremonial ritual area to enhance the magical effectiveness of the Quimbanda Goetia magical ritual. It is because of this difference of magical applications between the two Goetia derived magical traditions that makes our magical occult practice and it's sacred mysteries, unique, very scarce, rare and powerful. Although there are many forms of the Afro-Brazilian Quimbanda religious tradition found and practiced in Brazil, the occult methods and religious philosophy of our magical practice of the Quimbanda Goetia and the orthodox Gnostic Quimbanda religious tradition are only found within our temple. If you have not been formally initiated into the sacred mysteries of Afro-Brazilian Quimbanda then you will not be using these holy spirit relics in the spiritual experiments presented here in this ceremonial magic book, however if you have already been presented the appropriate holy spirit relics in a vessel then you will have the option of doing so. Either way, the spiritual experiments presented here in this book are primarily intended for those individuals who have not been formally inititaed into the Afro-Brazilian Quimbanda religious tradition. The Congo Spirits of the dead who make a pact with the living are collectively called “Nkisi”. The spirits come from the world of the dead and manifest through the Nganga. The Nganga is usually constructed inside of a cast iron cauldron or even inside of a clay pot. The Nganga is a miniature world and a doorway to the supernatural. The Nganga is the home of the Nkisi (Congo Spirit) who rests inside waiting until summoned by its owner. The spirit can only manifest to its owner who has made an eternal pact with the world of the spirits that will last until the physical death of its owner. The purpose of the spirit is to serve and protect its master by any means necessary. In the World of the Congo Spirits, good and evil are looked upon equally and weighed the same. That is, there is no distinct classification between good and evil as the Western World believes. Where do these spirits come from and why are they here? There are spirits everywhere around us. Everything, location and thing found in this world and the cosmos contain some kind of spiritual energy and life force. There are pantheons of spiritual entities also known as “restless spirits” that for some reason have not been able to pass through light dimensions and are trapped here inside of our world until they complete their task or their destiny. There are many different types of spiritual entities which exist and can be found in the mountains, forest, stones, trees, rivers, oceans and other far away locations such as the planets and the stars. Spirits are pure unseen and invisible energy that can manifest in our physical world. Through the use of ancient magical necromancy incantations and ancient magical sorcery formulas and preparations an individual can tap into this energy and stabilize it by undergoing a series of initiations into this mysterious world which will allow them to walk with authority and respect in the realm of the spirits. In the African Congo religious tradition of spirituality, initiations and pacts with the spirits are achieved through a series of very ancient initiations that link the physical dimension which we live in with the outer dimension, where the spirits reside. These ancient initiations were once restricted to a hierarchy of select individuals who would honor the traditions, culture and customs of the African Congolese peoples. When an individual undergoes the ancient initiation process these invisible spiritual entities will then recognize the new initiate as one of their own and in return will give the individual access to the secret “Cosmic Keys” to unlock the forbidden doors of the “Universal Occult Mysteries”. The scientific study of how these invisible spirits manifest within our physical world through the use of ancient necromancy invocations is called “Occult Physics”. The science of “Occult Physics” is the study of an unknown or invisible matter and its motion through space, time and all that derives from these, such as energy and force. More broadly, it is the general analysis of how these unseen invisible forces react in nature, conducted in order to understand how the world and universe behave. The techniques of how to capture spirits and to harness their strange and very powerful energy to do ones bidding is commonplace in all ancient cultures but the method by which an individual accomplished this varies from culture to culture and from region to region. In Western and European culture individuals initiated into the occult spiritual mysteries were many of times referred to as witches, warlocks and sorcerers. In the Afro-Brazilian Quimbanda religious tradition they are known as Quimbandeiros. The word Quimbandeiro refers to an individual who possesses great "occult

knowledge" and supernatural power to talk and to command the spirits of the dead for a variety of reasons such as to heal individuals from disease, sickness, power and protection against the evil eye and entities more commonly known as demons. The practice of working with the spirits of the dead is called necromancy. King Solomon, one of the greatest and most famous individuals of world biblical history was a sorcerer as well as a necromancer. After the African Diaspora to the New World, these initiations remained almost intact with a few variations and some syncretism and the incorporation of indigenous Indian and various early Jewish & Christian elements. It is a very strange world that modern day scientists acknowledge, but have not been able to fully explain. This world can only be reached, explained and experienced by direct initiation and or through spiritual dedication and repetition of magical practice by the non-initiated. I am very comfortable about sharing this information with you about the religious doctrine and religious philosophy of our magical tradition because we believe that Nzambi chose our religious tradition to be the sacred keepers of this very secret and sacred knowlege. After all, we have been practicing the magical Afro- Brazilian Gnostic Quimbanda magical tradition for well over a 150 years and that is a long time. If our magical religious tradition was wrong about how to successfully perform spiritual experiments and magical rituals then I would have not have been so successful in writing so many magical books that have been used by thousands of individuals over the past 30 or so years, which have manifested positive results by using them. Another interesting fact is that over the years, many individuals and organized occult and Christian groups have tried to extinguish our religious tradition through attempts to steal our very important magical manuscripts through acts of theft, vandalism and violence against our temple, but all of their attempts have been in vain. With each negative event also came success and more validation that we really have been blessed by Nzambi and that the supernatural power and divine protection that walks with us will continue to grow our particular Afro-Brazilian American Quimbanda religious tradition. To those individuals initiated into the sacred magical mysteries of our temple, it is believed that although we have had many past spiritual challenges, our spiritual existence can only be attributed to "Divine Intervention" and "Divine Intercession" which we believe confirms to the world that we are truly Nzambi's chosen people and that I was chosen by Him and the Holy Quimbanda Trinity to be the sacred custodian of these ancient occult truths which connect man to the great cosmos and to the Heaven's above and lead this very sacred magical tradition into the 21st Century. There is no doubt that within the confines of our particular magical religious tradition that we have something that no other magical religious has and that we have something that everybody wants to know about and to discover and learn. The very rare, scarce and powerful magical mysteries that we possess have been long been sought out by scientists, government agencies, mystics, Congo practitioners from the Caribbean and Brazil, established occult groups and secret societies with millions of followers that claim to be the keeper of the true Goetia mysteries. At the writing of this book, none have been successful in their attempts to secretly discover our sacred information and to disprove our claims that our particual magical tradition is one of the most powerful occult traditions in the world. Because of the challenges that our temple and religious tradition has experienced in our growth process over the past 150 years, I can honestly say that I believe in conspiracy theories because I have seen it and have also been a part of it. If our religious tradition has not been blessed by Nzambi Himself, the question arises then why has it survived for such a long period of time retaining the original Gnostic orthodox religious traditions of Afro-Brazilian Quimbanda? And why is it gaining popularity with so many interested individuals. As of the writing of this book, our particular religious tradition of American Quimbanda has members in many parts of the world, not just in the United States and it will continue to grow, because it is a religious belief for everybody no matter what socio-economic class that you may hail from. The Quimbanda Goetia spirits and the Afro-Brazilian religious tradition are here to help you on your destiny and spiritual journey of life. The methods that I will teach you in this book have been proven to get individuals the results that they are looking for by working with the powerful Astral Exu Goetia Spirits, because our orthodox Afro-Brazilian Gnostic Quimbanda magical religious tradition contains the true mysteries of the ancient Goetia magical tradition as practiced by King Solomon.
